Specialist groundworks, floating roads, bridges and reinstatement built for Scotland's most remote and demanding terrain.
From deep peat to hard rock, we deliver the full scope of access and infrastructure works that remote Highland sites demand — self-delivered by our directly employed workforce and owned plant fleet.
Site clearance, bulk earthworks, working platforms and crane pads built to engineered tolerances.
Hill, forest and estate roads — construction, strengthening, drainage, bellmouths and passing places.
Engineered access over deep peat, using geogrid and geotextile construction that protects the bog beneath.
Supply and installation of permanent and temporary bridges, culverts and watercourse crossings.
Tower pads, substation compounds and access for energy projects — including safe working around live overhead lines.
Drilling, blasting, crushing and screening on site — producing engineered fill where the ground allows.
Hag reprofiling, peat dams and revegetation with low ground pressure plant, restoring degraded peatland.
Scrub clearance and mulching for clear, safe working corridors.
Recreational access designed for durability and low impact.
Heather, peatland and habitat reinstatement — leaving the land as we found it.
From Skye to the far north, we operate across the Highlands and Islands. Locations are shown by region to protect client confidentiality.

Wildfire risk in the Highlands is growing. We cut fire breaks both ways: at speed when a fire is running, and in advance so it never gets the chance.
When wildfire threatens, we mobilise tracked plant and experienced operators at short notice to cut fire breaks and open access for firefighting teams. With operators and machines based across the Highlands, we can have plant moving within hours of a call and sustain day and night working for as long as the emergency demands.
Urgent? Call 07872 475275Outside the fire season we construct and maintain planned fire breaks around forestry, moorland, estates and infrastructure — vegetation removal, mulched breaks and access that lets responders reach the ground fast if the worst happens. Low ground pressure plant keeps the impact on the land to a minimum.
